jilibay LTO’s online portal provider urgently seeks contract extension
MANILAjilibay, Philippines — The provider of the Land Transportation Office’s (LTO) Land Transportation Management System (LTMS) sought a contract extension for the continuous operations of the system.
LTMS is an online portal that both local and overseas Filipino motorists can use to transact with the agency.
In a letter dated October 20 and addressed to Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, Dermalog Joint Venture “urgently” requested an extension of its contract with the LTO to make the continuous operations of the LTMS.

In order to be able to keep maintaining the data center of LTO and ensure the continuous operation of the LTMS system, we urgently request for an extension of the above maintenance contract within this week in order to be able to support the data center further,” the letter read.
“We are looking forward to a new maintenance contract during this week so that we will be able to continue maintaining the data center and to keep the hardware for the LTMS running,” it added.
Article continues after this advertisementDermalog Joint Venture was seeking extension of the P24.8 million-worth maintenance of the LTMS data center from until March 2025.
House Committee on Transportation chairman and Antipolo City Rep. Romeo Acop had previously urged the LTO to terminate its deal with Dermalog Joint Venture due to alleged contract breaches and violations.
